EXCELLENT Based on 449 reviews Bernie Ponison2024-05-21 Great camp site. Our site had it's own shower and mini kitchen with fridge. Highly recommended lisa louw2024-04-30 Very clean and pleasant Claire Kolbe2024-04-29 Really stunning weekend here. Stayed in the stone cottage which was beautiful. A large group of us were staying at the resort. The office team were very accommodating and friendly. Perfect dam to ski on, great for kayaking. Pool is awesome as is the beach for kids to play endlessly in the sand. Even a spot of fishing was done. Most gorgeous mountain scenery and spectacular sunsets. K W2024-04-14 We went as a large group, just out of school holidays, so not busy at all with peace and quiet, with most of us camping on the private camp spots. We were able to fit 2 tents and a trailer tent on our pitch and not be cramped at all. Other friends had a caravan with large awning and tents on their pitches. The benefits of having the private camps were we had our own ablutions each pitch, which are spacious and clean with a kitchen area attached that had a large fridge freezer, washing up area, a kettle and plenty of worktop space. The braai area is large, paved and shaded and there are mosquitoe lamps hanging. There were enough power sockets for us to plug in our own fridges. The whole site itself is beautiful with lush green lawns that are regularly watered and mowed, so looks pristine as it gently slopes to the dam with mountains as a backdrop. There is a pool to cool off as it does get very hot there. A couple in our group had a cabin which was quite quirky as they are built into the rock formations and are fully equipped and simply unique. The reception sells a few bits and has a freezer with ice lollies. There is a ramp to launch boats. Unfortunately, one in our group had a stroke the first morning and had to be taken to hospital. We lent our car as the whole family needed to go and left their caravan behind. We decided to stay a couple of extra days as the place is stunning and peaceful and the unpset of our friend put a downer on the first few days, we were given these free. Our dilemma when we left was transporting a trailer and now a caravan back home to Langebaan. The owner said he was heading that direction and delivered to their door and would not take petrol money and gave them another stay free. Could not ask for better hosts who were so kind and generous and made our stay perfect. Eben potgieter2024-04-12 What a Place!!! All i can say is WOW This will be the spot for me and my family Easy to find Awsm Service Clean all the way through Thank You Rondeberg Meghann Leo2024-04-09 We have camped at Rondeberg over the Easter period for 4 years now and we have never had any issues. Our “framily” have the best time, from booking to check-out. Booking is an absolute breeze as well as check-in. The ground is brilliantly maintained, the ablutions cleaned daily, one of the few campsites with toilet paper, hand soap and hand towels always available. The dam is the highlight for our group, we are able to spend hours creating memories on the water and the sense of community with all the Easter regulars allows for an all-round great experience. We understand that rules are in place for a reason but management has a very easy approach during holiday and festive periods. We are thankful to management for the gracious manner in which an incident with a camp neighbour was handled. We love Rondeberg, it is a permanent fixture on our annual camp calendar.
