We now have 6 x Van Hunks Bluefin Kayaks to rent on a daily basis. The kayaks are rented from reception.
Kids LOVE Rondeberg. Should they not wish to run around and enjoy the freedom of not being in a town or city, they can enjoy playing in the kids play area containing swings, a jungle gym and a climbing frame. Feeding the ducks on the duck pond and running around are some of the highlights for the young ones.
The SWIMMING POOL is situated in front of the stone cottages, with a beautiful view over the Bulshoek Dam and the surrounds. We provide a limited amount of pool loungers, but you are welcome to bring your own.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES with a washing machine and tumble drier for guests to make use of come in handy for those staying a bit longer, or for kids that need to go back to boarding schools on Monday after spending the weekend with the family at Rondeberg. It is situated next to the dishwashing facilities at the main ablution block.
There are lovely HIKING TRAILS in Rondeberg Resort, with the main hiking trial all the way around the “koppie”, called Rondeberg. Allow about 3 hours for this venture, and you will be rewarded not only with a very diverse variety of fauna, but you will be rewarded with stunning views over the Bulshoek Dam and Olifants River Valley. You might even come across Bushman Paintings and a Cave…
Some of the units are serviced with INTERNET & WI-FI, so that you can WORK FROM RONDEBERG and not just work from home in these trying times. We erected a cell phone tower to enable reception of all the major networks inside the resort. Talk to Reception for more information…

Fishing is big at Rondeberg Resort and is a popular venue for fly fishers, bass fishing and anglers. There is a wide variety of fish. Fishing is on a catch and release basis.
A big hit for Bird Lovers & Bird Photographers chalets nr 2 & 4 and 6 – 9 are keen favourites for the bird watchers, as the tripod with camera and long lenses can be erected right on the stoep and the birds in flight can be captured from the convenience of your chair.
